Depression and Suice Hotline

Our Feature Friday this week will not be about anything make up or skincare or whatever.

Let’s talk about suicide and depression.

Post are spreading at FB about this suicide prevention and depression hotline in the Philippines.

Here’s the number: 804-4673 (HOPE)

A little digging (meaning I used google) revealed that the number’s associated with Natasha Goulbourn Foundation.

I’ve seen their ads on the LRT maybe a couple of years back so I know that they are not entirely new.

So, why am I featuring this?

Because depression is a thing. You might know someone who needs to see this number and know that it does exist. This is just a tiny space on the interweb, so might as well put here something that might help someone somehow.

I’m not depressed, if that’s what you’re thinking. At least I don’t think I am. I’m just sad in the last week, but that’s probably because or hormones. Girls, amiryt?

Anyway, on a more personal note. I will be TRYING to avoid Facebook as long as possible. I decided against shutting out Twitter as well since I get my news from there. Also IG, since I mostly follow make up accounts and dogs of instagram accounts and hot men who rwad accounts and those make me happy.

I don’t know. I guess I just need some more changes in my life.
