To my pleasant surprise, BDJ sent me a sample of Pantene 3 Minute Miracle Conditioner.

Ok, I was a little disappointed because I was expecting a shampoo and not a conditioner. I am not a conditioner girl. My hair is naturally oily shiny, so conditioners only make my hair very… weird-looking.

But I tried the gift anyway. Why not.

Besides, the product promises to “repair three months’ worth of damage in just three minutes”.

Boom. That’s my hair. Damaged. Thank you, years of hair dyes and bleaching and such.

(backgrounder on my hair: My hair was beautiful, thankyouverymuch. I mean, I didn’t need them rebonds and those hair straightening stuff. I didn’t even need to comb my hair sometimes. Sabi nga nila, balik ayos ang buhok ko. I am naturally gifted like that. However, because of this fact, I tend to abuse my hair so much. I like to color and bleach my hair, hence it became damaged overtime. Alam mo yung ichura na medyo mukhang alambre? Haha hindi naman ganon. But with a couple of more sessions with coloring, I will get there. So, “damage control” really appealed to me.)

Let’s begin with the review.

The first thing that overwhelmed me was the smell. I LOVED IT! The shower was immediately devoured by the scent of the conditioner. It was kind of addicting.

After stepping out of the shower, I was kind of annoyed at first since my hair was super slippery (like every conditioner I used. Gah I hate conditioners). Pero binanlawan ko naman sya ng maayos hahaha. Anyway, I don’t use blow dryers, so I allowed my hair to dry naturally.

After my hair dried, I kid you not, my hair was actually better.

It felt and looked… more alive and healthier.

(and no, there was no ‘oily’ feel I despise from conditioners. I didn’t know what happened. The “slippery” became “soft”. So much win!)

Also, I was sniffing my hair a lot of time because the smell was THAT lovely.

My hair did not immediately looked like those TV commercial bouncy hair – I only used the conditioner once. But it was surprisingly close.

Will I buy this? Yes. The smell alone stole my heart, and honestly, this is the first conditioner I ever liked.

(I am wondering if this comes in a shampoo version, though. THAT I will use everyday).
